Visit to Musée du Parfum Fragonard
The Musée du Parfum Fragonard provided me with a story of journey into the history and heritage of the perfume industry. In the museum, there were detail explanations about ancient origins of perfumery and the evolution of techniques and ingredients. Fragonard perfume has a meticulous attention to detail and precise blending of notes. It really represented from their packaging and scents collections. The Musée du Parfum Fragonard also seamlessly integrated a retail experience within the museum. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the history of perfumes and purchase products at the end of tour.

Fragrances Development with Firmenich
Fragrances, particularly perfumes, play a crucial role in the luxury business. Perfumes are revenue generators for luxury brands due to their affordability.
According to Firmenich, there are six top reasons why consumers purchase perfumes:
· Product Benefit: functional needs.
· Brand: Quality and trust
· Communication: consumer interaction
· Fragrance: emotional enforcement
· Price: value for money.
· Packaging: identity.
Designing scents is a form of storytelling, creative interpretation, and an exploration of ideas, memories, and experiences.
The ”What” and “Why”, from Loreal Global Project Manager
Understanding the "why" behind a product is just as important as knowing the "what" in order to win over consumers. Articulating the background and rationale behind a product's creation enables effective communication. It allows us to not only convey what the product is, but also to understand why consumers should choose it, the problems it solves, and the solutions it offers. One effective way to deliver the "why" is through brand purpose. In the luxury and beauty industry, brand purpose holds significant importance. It defines the value the brand offers to society in addressing specific market problems and should guide the brand's mission and beliefs. Brand purpose should consistently align with market insights, only adjusting when there is a shift in market behavior, while remaining within the overall brand purpose.

"Tomb of the Unknown Soldier" at Arc de Triomphe
There is daily evening ceremony at Arc de Triomphe known as the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier" ceremony. This solemn ceremony pays tribute to the unidentified soldiers who lost their lives during World War I and represents the nation's gratitude and remembrance for their sacrifice. The ceremony consists of activities; the raising of the national flag, bugle calls, and a moment of silence. The ceremony begins with a group of uniformed soldiers that arrived representing the French military. The ceremony started with a bugle call piercing the air and followed by the other mentioned activities.
