Paris: Where Luxury Meets History

I sat there, listening to him talk with pride and confidence, explaining the long history of Louis Vuitton – how it came to be what it is today, why it started, who started it, and why it still exists. I could see how valuable the brand was to him. I could feel the immense pride he had for the brand. The next thing I knew, I was watching a video about the history of the brand and the family house, and I was overwhelmed with unknown emotions that I couldn't explain with words, but the result was a desire to own a Louis Vuitton product.

The house in Asnières, open to the public for the first time, allowed me to discover the evolution of the Maison's visionary creations in an immersive exhibition inspired by the signature Malle Courrier trunk from 1858. The house was warm, welcoming, and magical. That day, LV products became pieces of art for me, and I felt I had to own one to be part of the brand, to celebrate its legacy.

Our next visit to Dior was just as fascinating. Learning about its history, the start of the brand, and how it operates today, especially meeting the people who direct the creatives and campaigns we see, was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Lastly, a visit to the beautiful and mesmerizing Château De Versailles. Learning about its history and how it is still kept alive through partnerships between luxury brands and historical sites made me realize the importance of these sites to the luxury industry and its history.

Paris is where all the people who started these legacies lived, and the art that we know today came alive because of the long history Paris holds. This also made me realize the value of luxury goods and why they are loved and desired by everyone to this day.
