The end…
These two weeks have given me memories, challenges, struggles, and exhaustion. It was intense but a great experience.
This was my first time staying in a country without my parents, so this trip was filled with firsts for me.
Thinking back, I was very unsure whether I should apply to this program. I had been pondering it for months. In the end, I applied, thinking I would decide if i go or not if I got selected. Exactly two weeks later, I received an email that I was accepted. I was shocked and scared about whether I should go or not. Taking advice, I remember my friend telling me, "You have the chance to go, so go on my behalf!"
I should thank her because this became the best experience of my life.
I learned so much as a marketer. I grew as a person. My communication skills improved. My public speaking improved. Not only that, I met amazing people through this program, made connections, and gained lifelong friends. I finally got to see France - the Eiffel Tower, Eze village, Nice, Juan Les Pins, and so much more.
I had no expectations; I started the journey with an open mind and was ready for anything that came my way. Now, from writing the elevator pitch to completing the final assignment, I didn't even realize how quickly time passed and that we were at the end of the program.
As I write this, I am reliving all the good memories and food!!! It is bittersweet! I will keep hoping to go back one day. Until then, I will keep reliving all the time I spent in France. A part of me will always be there.
Last but not least, thank you to NYU, Professor Milos, and Elisabeth Mitchell, our program coordinator, for creating this opportunity for us! Professor Milos and Elisabeth are the best people I met through this program. Every step of the way, they have supported me, even after the program ended. I can't wait for the many more memories I will create with them and my program peers. Congratulations to us for making it to the end!!
